Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to report a scam incident involving a fraudulent individual pretending to offer support services related to Facebook. The scammer contacted me using the phone number 877-595-4732 and falsely claimed association with Apple Support under the pretext “I called Apple Support recently. I never expected…”. They misled me into believing there was an issue with my account and attempted to gain my personal and financial information. Their behavior was deceptive and caused significant concern. I request you to investigate this matter and take appropriate action to prevent others from becoming victims of similar scams.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear sir / madam,

I would like to inform you about a fraud case that took place on Facebook. Someone tried to contact me through the number 8332695800 and said that they offer some service assistance. However, they asked me to visit a website called "[System!Rescue] Why is Roku charging me when I have no …" to gain my trust. The person wanted to get personal and banking details from me, which I refused to share with them.

Please check out this case and take necessary actions against it.

sincerely ,
David Brown

Hi,

Hope you are doing well. Canadian Anti Fraud Center referred me to contact you for help.

I am student at University of Regina. I recently (September 2017 for Fall admissions) moved to Canada on Student Permit from India.

I became victim to an Online fraud which happened on 19th March 2018. When I found suspicious activities in my Facebook account, I contacted the Facebook customer care number found in Google website. That turned out to be fraudulent and they scared me saying all my personal information, my pictures, videos have been hacked by multiple people and being misused inappropriately. They, posing as Facebook customer care agents, asked me to pay them money as fee so that they could stop the hackers from misusing my personal information. They made me buy Apple's iTunes card of 100$ denomination each and give them the access code for the same. They promised to refund the amount at the end of the process and kept asking for money by calling multiple times. My mind was blocked and could not think of anything else and did as they instructed. I paid over 6000$ to them through Apple and iTunes gift card.

I have registered a complaint with Canadian Anti Fraud Center, my case number is : *** I went to Regina police station,my case number is *** on Tuesday morning on 20th March 2018 to file a complaint. They said they cannot do anything about this. I contacted my bank, even they said they cannot do anything about this. I am devastated and going through Mental trauma.

My parents had taken student loan for my studies and put that in my GIC account, I lost all my money, including the Loan amount, credit card balance, borrowed money from friends as well. I do not have any money left with me to even survive here.

I am hoping on you to help me out. Please guide me. Also kindly take measures to create awareness in people so that nobody else falls as Victim.

Thanks
