Fell for the dog food survey scam. They have a Facebook page where they posted that, if you take a brief survey administrated by Institute of Surveys for PetSmart, you will be sent a free bag on dog food and all you have to do is pay shipping. They require payment via credit or debit card to pay the shipping card.

The next day, they email you stating the product is out of stock and you'll receive a refund within 14 days. You will never get that money back unless you dispute it with your card provider and now the scammer has your card information to use elsewhere.

Contact your car holder immediate dispute the transaction and so that they can issue you a new card. Then file a complaint with The Federal Trade Commission at https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/#/assistant?orgcode=USAGOV

Report

The company claimed to be offering free dog food if you paid shipping after doing an online survey. After completing and paying with a temporary card number they claimed it was out of stock.

They also show a ScamPulse.com accredited badge on their website, but can’t be found in search.
