I was approached on Instagram about a digital animation of my car for $35. I figured it was a little suspicious, but I had just woken up, so I impulsively thought "Why not?" They asked for $35 up front, and I sent it to them. Once my animation was made, they said they required $50 to process the files. I said it was bogus and that I wasn't paying $50 on top of what I though was already pretty expensive for the product I was promised. Eventually, we negotiated the processing fee down to $40, so I paid for it with gift cards purchased online. This was only after they refused to give me a $35 refund since I refused to pay the processing fee. I never got the animation files they created for me, and I never got my money back from them.
