Paid for a Shopify business and coaching that was a complete scam
It took 2 weeks of following up to finally get told their designer saw the potential of income that would be generated from this alleged Shopify site and so they wanted more money to release the website. Basically this was embezzlement demanding more money for the alleged service and promised 1 on 1 coaching to reach full income potential. After more waiting and follow up, a generic website was create and details emailed with directions that gave no actual direction on how to do anything and a website that could have been made by anyone, nothing professional. The directions were to run ads to promote a business claiming to sell products that had no actual warehouse details, or even proof there was a product to sell. Basically this was a website claiming to sell products without having any physical inventory and the instruction was to worry about finding a supplier after sales were generated.
There was no coaching, no support and definitely no refund after MANY requests for breach of contract and wanting money which was claimed to be a 30 day money back guarantee.
After following the steps to run ads which cost extra and trying to get things done as per instructions, there was no success and another site was promised. This dragged out for a YEAR of random communication and mainly claims of being busy and empty apologies to help remedy the problem. There was never another site only lies that another designer had created it but you needed 3rd part authentication to access which was never given.
The calls and texts and emails went on for over a year and there were random text responses from him when there were texts pointing out the lies and scam but then nothing. Arden is a scam artist who preys on people who wanted to learn e-Commerce and were in a vulnerable position willing to pay someone they thought would help them. There are many other victims who've shared similar stories and I'm sure several police reports that are just waiting for follow up as he's not as smart as he thinks. His face is all over the internet and his lies are piling up. The internet is forever and so is his information which only will be a matter of time when it all comes crashing down and he gets the karma that's coming.
Hopefully he can't scam any future people into the same trick but I'm sure he's working on his next scheme.
