- New Port Richey, FL, USA • Apr 14, 2024

I posted my resume online with Career Builder and I was contacted by Melissa White, who suggested I download the “Signal” app and get in touch with Ethan Brandon or Steven Robert II. I had an interview via text for over two hours and I received an offer letter from the company KUSTAN, which is based in Germany. This was for a remote data entry job. I was advised they were expanding into the area. They had Business letterhead and provided names of people who actually work at the company. They sent checks to be deposited overnight delivery to my door. This was for all the computer things and software that was to be needed. once it cleared it was supposed to be sent to the vendor via bitcoin due to exchange rates and such. I spoke with this company everyday for 3 weeks. It is insane. I have reached out to the CEO of the company and board members to advise what someone is trying to perpetrate with their company. No response so far. BEWARE they are really good and convincing.

- Fort Myers, FL, USA • Apr 06, 2024

Reached out about a application on sent in for a job. I am currently applying for jobs, so it made sense. Said they had openings and had me choose a position I'd be interested in. Redirected me to Zoom to contact their "Hiring Manager/Chief Recruitment Officer"; Mrs. Victoria A. Gaines. I then sent her a message on Zoom with the provided email (of "Victoria's"). Asked me interview-like questions, elaborations and such. then said asked if the bank I used accepted mobile direct deposits. She would then send me a picture of a check to direct deposit "workplace materials", printer, fax machine, coffee mug warmer, etc. That came off very strange to me so I looked up the initial number that Mrs. Laura A. Hall, from Hilton Hotels and Resorts, reach me from on your website and confirmed it was a hiring scam through "Hilton". I then called "Victoria" out that it was a scam, she denied it, then left the conversation on Zoom.

After receiving this email I decided to get more information and performed their "interview" through Chatwork.

The interview was conducted over text message with "Rosa Fregozo." It was very elaborate and I had multiple long-form questions to answer about my work ethic and past work experiences. After the interview, I was immediately offered the job. At that point, I was 100% sure it was a scam and stopped communication. However, about 24 hours later I received another email with onboarding paperwork, two of the four documents were real government-issued employment documents. The other two were regular PDFs, one of which requested my bank information. I did and have not continued communication with the scammer and have not provided any substantial personal info. However, I wanted to provide an in-depth description of the scam as it was very elaborate, and I hope this description helps other people from falling into this trap and potentially losing their bank account.

I was approached by a person impersonating Kimberly Steadman from Avalon Health Care Solutions. This is an actual company and the person is an actual person who works with the company. They stole pictures from the website and the name of the hiring manager. They told me they were offering me a job with company then proceeded to tell me they were going to send me money to buy equipment which they did. I was told I was receiving the money to buy a new computer and to take out 200% as a sign-up bonus. The emails they used were the following.

I answered a Facebook group post about job opportunity via email with contact. They said the job interview would be conducted with the hiring manager via Google Chat and it wouldn't be necessary to prepare for a video meeting. The position was for virtual assistant, data entry or payroll assistant position. 3 options for full time, part time, or spare time. The hiring manager asked me a series of questions about my typing, why i would be good for the job, definition of privacy and code of conduct. I was asked about the name of my bank to see if it "tallies with our bank's salary account". They asked me for a photo of my drivers license. Im attaching the screenshot that made me realize it was a scam.

They approached me via social media first then sent an email with a contract to sign for a modeling gig I was to be paid for, then sent me digital checks for cost of travel expenses but after I was instructed to send the money to their travel agent. The next day I found out the check was fraudulent.

- Hibbing, MN, USA

The individual that interviewed me Joy Mills asked typical interview questions, shared information on benefits packages, and the Remote work role for data entry. I connected with her via signal messenger and was given a job offer. She stated that all my new hire packet and a check would be sent to me to obtain work materials. When asked to speak with a member of her HR team prior to giving them my mailing address she stated "this is not a scam" and then seems to have blocked me.

Beymark Inc. sent a text message from someone named Sunday (813) 435-9743 on 3/1/2023 at 11:04am to my friend's cell phone who I listed as a reference on a resume, but addressed the text message to my name.

The text message said that their team reviewed my resume and would like to discuss my application in an interview on Thursday, 3/2 and would that work for me.

I googled Beymark Inc. and came to this website: https://www.gobeymark.com/index.html with a phone number and email address: Phone: 813-616-3574, Email: [email protected].

I called the number and asked for Sunday who explained that the mix up with the phone number and email address may have been with a "pre-fill" when completing an online application.

I never completed an online application for Beymark Inc. Sunday then said she saw my correct email and phone number on my resume. She proceeded to schedule me for a zoom call on 3/2 at 11am but sent the email to my correct email address but addressed using my friend's name.

After concluding this was a scam, I called the number back to Sunday and said the interview is declined/cancelled to which she said okay.
