Scam job word for word from above people.

Yeah just found out this guy is word for word what others have seen.
Was texted by a guy by the name Jeffery Carey about a job as a requiter. He referred me to Microsoft teams to a guy by the name Steven Lee. Got suspicious so looked up scams and found this site.

Dignity Health fake job offer

Apparently I applied through career builder. I talked to a recruiter. Then I was offered to do an interview on July20,2023. I rescheduled the interview for today July 21,2023. I did an interview with Eric Miles. After the interview he said wait 35 minutes and I would find out if I was hired. The proof is below beware of this scam.

Posted resume on job board,received text with code number and to contact Eric Miles ans after brief interview was told hired and was aunt check for almost $4000 for supplies. Bank caught it as fraudulant

Received an email from "Dignity Health" [email protected] advising me that my resume was approved and the hiring process would start tomorrow if I emailed Mr. James Anthony. They gave me an approval code. The whole thing sounded very fishy and I reported it as spam. Beware.

Job posted on idealist.org as a "Data Entry/Administrative Assistant" for *** ***.

Was emailed regarding the position, said they wanted to do an online interview the next day.

Following a brief online interview, was sent employment offer letter, was asked to sign and send basic info - name, address, phone - along with image of driver's license.

Was told they would be sending me a check to purchase specific equipment previously mentioned in the interview.

Received check for $4,920 from a Darryl Robinson, processed as a cashier's check through Navy Federal.

Called Navy Federal to verify the legitimacy of the check and it was fraudulent.

Luckily this was as far as I got in the experience.

The "people" I was in contact with included: Elizabeth Shih, Charles Francis and Darryl Robinson.
