My mother was contacted via phone by a recorded message purporting to be an Apple security alert. They have called continuously over 5 times. When she picked up, a recorded, monotone voice explained how there may have been unauthorized access to her apple account. The call lasted an estimated 10 seconds. They say they are connecting with a technician. After a few seconds of "connecting" it hangs up. After this first time of contact, she was unable make contact again. Every time she called back, the phone would say that the call has been made and was being timed but, the only sound was the sound of a phone dialing. Connection can only be made if it originates from the scammer. No money was taken or atemped to be taken. There was also no information taken. Be aware of this Apple imposter.
