Man going by the name of Terence Hibbert came into my store in person. He was in his early 70's, looked trusting. He sold advertisement in a small directory mailer. He used the name Ikonos Pocket Directory. I'm sure he has since changed his venue and business name. He mentioned several local small businesses in the area that had also signed up. I was trying to check up on the ad and found his number disconnected and no response to emails. I checked with the other local businesses around and all had the same problem. I googled his business name and found nothing. He had me write the check directly to him saying he was the owner. This man makes a living on scamming small businesses trying to survive in an already difficult market. Businesses beware of Terrence Hibbert.
