I applied for a personal loan. I received a call from a man named Frank stating that I had been approved for the loan and that they needed my account information to deposit the money. I provided him with the info necessary to complete the transaction, as you would for any loan company. To which he responded that he would initiate a test refund and return my call. The next day I received a notice from my bank stating that they noticed some fraud activity. A mobile deposit was made into my account (not by me) and then spent immediately at CVS. The deposit was made using a bad check and now I am being held responsible for the deficit in my account.
