I was given until 8-8-2025 to respond or loose warranty coverage for mechanical systems Inside/Outside. Received postcard notification by US Mail today

- Minneapolis, MN, USA • Jul 22, 2025

I did not call the number given on the postcard. I assumed it was scam. The only information offered was a phone number to call with business hours and a ID and PIN number to reference. This was targeted to my elderly father.

There was no company name, return address or contact information other than the phone number, 888-413-5452. Shows coverage for "Mechanical Systems" with the same header on both sides of the card. Obviously a scam, but I'm sure some will fall for it. The body of the text reads: Dear (homeowner), This is your Warranty Replacement notice advising you to contact our offices so you do not have a lapse in coverage for all available covered components. With active services, all repairs and replacements will be covered that reflect your updated paperwork. Call 1-888-413-5452 now before it's too late and your expiration date expires leaving your home at risk of expensive repairs and/or product replacement.

Barcodes were not functional.

I re eived a postcard from Homeowner Protection Division. No address of the company appears on the postcard. It ide tifies my name, address, Type of location, omponant Element Carrier: Mechanical Systems, Coverage Location: Inside/Outside, Expire Date, Notice Date, Home Inspection: Waived, Usage Limit: Continual, Registration ID, PIN#, Warranty Replacement Notice. Call Their Phone Number 1-888-413-5452 for uninterrupted protection, Also stamped on the card was "REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR CONTINUED PROTECTION " Also was included the days and hours you could reach them at the 888 number I referenced earlier, along with a bar code, as well as the words; "WARRANTY REPLACEMENT".

On just one side of the postcard they addressed a message to my full name, elaborating about the Warranty Replacement is about to lapse, and call to update the paperwork for the items covered for repairs and replacement before it's too late and the warranty expires leaving me open to paying for expensive repairs or replacements.

Got a postcard saying I was going to lose my home protection unless I called to renew

- Hartville, OH, USA • Jul 09, 2025

Received a postcard in the mail stating that we had to call the listed number in order to maintain our "warranty" protection. Immediately seemed suspicious since we rent and do not own a home. I googled the number listed and actually hit this website.

The post card did not have a zip code or email, however in the stamp field on the top right it said Us postage paid Dallas Texas Permit No. 2650. I will paste the latter verbatim here so others do not fall victim:

Dear (target name)

This is your Warranty Replacement notice advising you to contact our offices so you do not have a lapse in coverage for all available covered components.

With active services, all repairs and replacements will be covered that reflect your updated paperwork. Call 1-888-413-5452 now before its too late and your expiration date expires leaving your home at risk of expensive repairs and/or product replacement.

I can post an image of the letter if needed.

Postcard received via USPS from Dallas, TX re Warranty Replacement Notice from the Homeowner Protection Division to extend protection for Mechanical System with “Registration is Required for Continued Protection” and I have no insurance related to this postcard

- Schenectady, NY, USA • Jun 30, 2025

I received a second notice that a warranty replacement was due and to call the number on the card. Problem was the name of the person on the address was a family member who does not reside in this state.

- Walla Walla, WA, USA • Jun 28, 2025

We recieved a postcard in the mail on 6-26-2025 that said our expiration date is 7-18-2025 as a "Warranty Replacement Notice" with registration and PIN numbers. It was sent first-class presorted mail. We already have coverage for our appliances and other such " extras" that regular insurance doesn't cover, so I know right away this is a scam. Luckily I didn't call, which ALWAYS comes with more harassment, but would have otherwise. Hope nobody falls for the " continued coverage" line. The postcard looks legitimate.

- Omaha, NE, USA • Jun 23, 2025

Received postcard from Homeowners Protection Division stating that my coverage would lapse. They tried to gett me to renew for $ 152 . I have no records that I ever had their service. I declined to renew.

- Massillon, OH, USA • May 27, 2025

They claimed that my home was in need of warranty replacement that I did not have making it sound as though I did. I called the number and they wanted me to verify personal info and when I refused, they hung up.

- Whitewater, CO, USA • May 23, 2025

I didn't call the number just googled it and it came up as a scam number. I them read. Of the same exact card being sent out to others and it said to report so I'm trying to.

- Eden, NC, USA • May 20, 2025

Letter in the mail for a "warranty replacement notice". I rent the home and it was addressed to someone that doesn't own this home or live here.
