I posted in a social media platform seeking to find a chimney sweep when i was contacted by a Jason Collins and told he worked for a company, he provided company name, gave information about when they could perform the service, requested my home address and phone number to schedule appointment, which I unfortunately provided. Then I started my own research and could not find a valid business with the name Guardian Clean and Care that does chimney sweeps, the social media site for the business lists a web address that is not valid, there is no contact phone number for the business, when I look up the about information on the social media page I indicates that the page is being managed out of Pakistan. I do believe this is a new way for criminals to receive home address and phone numbers and I am certain other information to hack into peoples accounts or access personal information. Even though no services will be exchanged and no money exchanged by me I feel certain others will not be as fortunate.
