Caller calling Washington State.-

Caller got a call on 3/13/19 from Roger Williams they got approved for a $40,000 grant. They will receive a package in couple of days.

The caller had to go to the nears Walmart to purchase a Google Play card of $250 and give them the code so they know that they were who they said they were and they would get the $250 back.

Cousin texting me with the phone number (386) 401-9738, telling me to call if I need extra money.  Call the number an I needed $100,000.00 money, they didn't ask me why I needed so much money.  They told me OK, I need to send $1500.00 to them to get the $100,000.00, put money on an itune card, Amazon Card.  I sent them $600.00 on itune cards.  After I sent the money, they told me I need to sent the $900.00 more to get the money.  When I figure it was a scam, I already sent the money to them, but I wasn't going to send them anymore money.

I got a call that I qualified for a $9000 grant. But, I never applied for any type of grant.

I received a phone call from a gentleman (foreign accent) that said congratulations, you have won some money from the U.S. Government. I forget the amount he said that I won but it was grant and I would not have to pay it back. I said that it was true good to be true and he said, oh, don't be so negative. I requested that he give me a phone number to call him back to make sure it wasn't a scam. He gave me the following phone number 202-798-3307 to call him back. He gave me a pin number to give to his supervisor and I would be set. I did not call the number back because i knew it was a scam. Please warn others.
