He insisted that I buy an apple gift card for $700.00 and I would receive $90,000.00 in 48 hours delived by Fedex. The that wanted me to text the guy also insist that i procede with buying the card. I suppected a scam and kept asking questions. I ask for more information on higination and he said this was his orgination. If you click on the website it will ake to his profile. He approved the money in seconds. He called a dear logal winner trying to intise me to think it was ligit

There was a friend of mine that said they knew someone that was getting small businesses grants for their business. The name of the grant stated was supposed to be an ERC credit. There was a charge of $200 for the paperwork to be processed and the grant money was supposed to be sent directly to the business account with 120 days. There was no money deposited within 120 days nor was there anymore information provided once they got all of myself and other business owners personal and business information. They had started out charging people $200 then decided to start charging people $750 for processing the so called ERC grant paperwork. I am very upset that I fell for this type of scam knowing that I was told about this so called program from a friend that claimed to know the person that is the person that has taken not only my money, but other peoples money. They need to be STOPPED and hopefully they havent done too much damage to myself or the other business owners business and personal credit.

This person name Anthony Brain Hurwitz tried to get me to apply for grants. He told me that all he needed was my name and my mother's name. He had me thinking that my friend give him my Facebook massager. Then he had someone text me on my phone and I thought that my friend didn't have my number was my friend. Both instead, me to apply for. I tried to call my friend because I thought it was my friend because of her picture, so I apply for the grant give my and mother's name, address, email, he ask if I had a credit card but I said no. He call his company Gradients Grant Outreach Support, that why I thought it was real. I give my mother and my name. So now that he got my name, mother (passed) this won't hurt me.

2/13/2023 an old friend messaged me and told me about a Government Grant for the Needy that she received, and asked if I ever heard of it. Here in the town I live in. I said I heard of it and believed it was a scam. She said she received $35000, and would never steer anyone the wrong way. She told me to try it and I would be eligible for a loan because of low income. She told me who to email and they would get back with me within an hour or two as they did herself. So I emailed and the process started. I was in their database to receive money. I had to buy $800 Apple gift cards to start any proceedings. I messaged the friend and spoke with her about this and she said "do what they ask so you can get what is coming to you." They always came up with a reason not to deliver the money, and I always had to pay more(another payment) for security. They said they were with the IRS so the money wouldn't be stolen. They always said this is the last payment, but it never was. I should have known better!! I feel like a fool. What really set me off was the last payment they wanted $750 for IRS to confirm payout of delivery. They showed a document paper from IRS with my name on it but not wrote out like a government signature. Also the friends photo is still on messenger but no caption or way of getting in contact with her. All this happened from 2/13/2023 to 4/13/2023. Well it all started about a month ago. One of my Church sisters ask me about a free government grant that I really knew nothing about. Well I went for it but not being told about the money that I had to pay out. All together $3,000 dollars and yet no money . Suppose to be free. Now this the catch here, I called American Express to see the balance on the last gift card which was $500.00 and found out the card had already been used for a purchase at The Coach Factory in Jacksonville Fla. I can’t believe how deceitful people really are. Can you help me Please

They contacted me under an ex coworkers name telling me about a family support grant and saying they had already received $50,000. And gave the agents name and said contact him right away. The agent seemed very upset with me for not getting on board immediately. Asked me for my fb and email passwords. I didn’t give it I just blocked both of them.

Person offered me a grant for $75,000 , ok sounded good then I was asked to pay $500 in amazon gift cards I sent then they wanted me to to pay for a hotel bill I did then they wanted me to pay in money order for a processing fee I did they told me I had to pay a delivery fee and got nothing back

I received a call from a man with an accent who offered me a $9000 grant because the previous administration set aside money for people who had not committed any crimes. My ID number JS747. I was told to go to Walmart. They said I could have the grant money wired to my bank account. They've called back 6 or 7 times.

This is an addition to the same scam I just reported a few minutes ago. Caller didn't attempt to get money from me because I hung up before that happened. He gave me a code grant number:. zz11042. He said it was for the verification officers. He just called me back from this number:(801)209-6825. This time he said, You can get financial aid money for education that you don't have to pay back. I just have to ask you a few questions to see if you qualify.". It was same man. I know his voice. He asked my level of education and of it was a diploma or GED. I told him. He said, "To see if you are a minor I need to know when you were born.". I told him the year. He said, "I need the day and month.". That's when I hung up. Before he asked me that he asked me if I had filled out paperwork to go to college. Then he said, "Yes or no? I need to know.". I said I had but now I'm not going to college.

It was always same person who called. At least 10 times today and many times yesterday. Calls came from Washington DC (202)594-9098, Washington state (206)962-3616, Arizona (928)710-2428, Florida, this number:. (501)388-8342, and at least 1 other number. He sounds Asian and says he's from the government and I have been selected to receive $9000 in grant money I don't have to repay. In 1 call only he said it's because I have had trouble paying my bills and the government is doing this to boost the economy. I said I suppose you want my account information. He said, "If you don't want to give me that you can get a store card to have the money put on. It can be Walmart, Walgreens or some other store. Which store do you want to use?". I said, "Walmart.". He said, The most you can put on a Walmart card is $5000. You will need 2 cards. It will cost you $100. Can you come up with that much money?". I hung up. He kept calling back. Sometimes I hung up when I heard his voice; other times I listened for awhile. When he asked me if I could get the money I said, " I think this is a phone scam.". He said, "You think this is a phone scam.". Then I hung up.

Caller calling Washington State.-

Caller got a call on 3/13/19 from Roger Williams they got approved for a $40,000 grant. They will receive a package in couple of days.

The caller had to go to the nears Walmart to purchase a Google Play card of $250 and give them the code so they know that they were who they said they were and they would get the $250 back.

Cousin texting me with the phone number (386) 401-9738, telling me to call if I need extra money.  Call the number an I needed $100,000.00 money, they didn't ask me why I needed so much money.  They told me OK, I need to send $1500.00 to them to get the $100,000.00, put money on an itune card, Amazon Card.  I sent them $600.00 on itune cards.  After I sent the money, they told me I need to sent the $900.00 more to get the money.  When I figure it was a scam, I already sent the money to them, but I wasn't going to send them anymore money.

I received a phone call from a gentleman (foreign accent) that said congratulations, you have won some money from the U.S. Government. I forget the amount he said that I won but it was grant and I would not have to pay it back. I said that it was true good to be true and he said, oh, don't be so negative. I requested that he give me a phone number to call him back to make sure it wasn't a scam. He gave me the following phone number 202-798-3307 to call him back. He gave me a pin number to give to his supervisor and I would be set. I did not call the number back because i knew it was a scam. Please warn others.
