My husband and I purchased a lifetime membership with Gold Crown Resorts back in 2009 for over $9,000.00. Was told we would not have to pay any additional fees. Was contacted earlier this spring, again in the summer by Gold Crown Reserve that they are now Gold Crown Resorts and to continue to use our membership we would have to pay a yearly membership. I have never heard of this company and nor did we receive any notification from Gold Crown Resorts of their new company name/business process. My husband paid the fee so we could utilize a trip this winter but I want our money back! This is so upsetting.

My husband and I contacted the BBB concerning the seemingly BAIT AND SWITCH tactics of this firm... My husband and I purchased a Gold Crown Resorts (GCR) lifetime membership (200 years) with no annual fees for over $8000 in 2009. Then suddenly we were contacted by a firm, Gold Crown Reserve (GCR), that we had never heard of on May 3, 2021. This firm wanted a $249 annual fee to continue the travel benefits we already paid for based on our GCR contract agreement. This is a BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM. THEY CLAIM THEY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF OUR CONTRACT WITH GCR, HOWEVER THEY CONTINUE TO USE ALL OF GOLD CROWN RESORT WEBSITES AND MEMBER SERVICES AND RESERVATION PERSONNEL. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS FIRM NOR RECOMMEND THEM SINCE THEY HAVE SOLICITED US FOR PAYMENT OF A FEE WE NEVER AGREED TO .. THEY HAVE NO PHYSICAL ADDRESS YET THEY DID FIND THE TIME TO GIVE US A LINK TO PAY FOR THE SERVICES WE ALREADY PAID FOR. WE REQUESTED A REFUND A PRORATED AMOUNT AND/OR THAT THEY HONOR OUR GCR AGREEMENT!

Yo también recibo éste tipo de de correo, pero la diferencia es que yo soy miembro de GOLD CROWN RESORTS la empresa turística original a diferencia de ésta que es GOLD CROWN RESERVE y que posiblemente si no es una estafa, es un miembro de GOLD CROWN RESORTS que ha creado una web con enlaces para vender o estafar membresías.
Según la membresía legal adquirida en GOLD CROWN RESORTS, da derecho a un máximo de 10 semanas al año a precio muy reducido en los miles de resorts que la compañía tiene por todo el mundo, pero la membresía se obtiene en un único pago inicial y durante 100 años de duración que además es con derechos hereditarios.
Para adquirir ésa membresía se hace a través de agentes de vacaciones, (como yo) pero de forma legal y administrada por GOLD CROWN RESORTS, sin facturas falsas ni coerciones, ni pagos de suscripción anuales.

I am receiving emailed invoices from Gold Crown Reserve for $249 that have a due date of 07/09/2013 with a statement date of 02/13/2021. The URL provided in the email to resolve this debt is through their payment site is [www.goldcrownresort.com/upgrade/?id=1554538]www.goldcrownresort.com/upgrade.

Interesting parts are that the domain name is GoldCrownResort.com (note the company name change) and this is about signing up for a new membership instead of paying off a debt from 2013.

I received an invoice for Gold Crown Reserve (1-828-5095) for $249 for services I never requested or used. When I called to discuss they keep hanging up on me.

Received email requesting payment of $249.00 for annual membership dues for which I have not subscribed. Email included an account number. No physical address but included a link to make payment.
