I was at work when I received a text saying that a "Two-Step Authentication was just configured for your Gemini account. Install Authy at https://www.authy.com/install to get your security codes." This was followed by a second text that gave me a security code for Gemini along with the message "Don't share this code with anyone; our employees will never ask for the code." I don't know who generated these texts or even how to handle this situation so I just sent an email to Gemini thru the ScamPulse.com website. I did read on Reddit that this is part of a scam from people who have your phone numbers and have hacked into your phone and to NOT click on any of the links, so I didn't. Other than that, there appears to be conflicting information on how to best handle someone else creating an account with your phone number.
