Type of a scam Tech Support

Received call from Geek Squad CSR informing me that the product that I had purchased was no longer working in my computer and that they were going to refund me $450.00. I had fired this company when after they worked on my computer I started getting pop ups and took it too a reputable person who said they had installed a virus? ( I am not tech savvy so that is my word). So I have NOT let them back into my computer for months now. Today, I receved this call and told them to put the money into a check and send it to me. They refused and said they had to put it back on the card directly and wanted me to open my computer to allow them to connect me to their refund department. I remained very cordial and even toned as I stated I would not do that, and told them I was going to check them out with ScamPulse.com and I would call them back. Richard CSR had a very thick Indian Accent I asked for his phone number so I could call him back once I verified the report. He gave me this number which Irepeated back several times to be sure it was correct, 1-408-540-6428. He then started accusing me of giving him a hard time and being disrespectful yelling at me that they were a huge company. I stayed calm and the more I did the more enraged he became.I hung up on him and I called the number back....DISCONNECTED!
