I was looking for part ,in eBay show this guy its a 100 % trust seller ,
eBay Item Scams:
eBay item scams refer to fraudulent activities where sellers misrepresent products, deceive buyers, or fail to deliver purchased items altogether. These scams can take various forms, and buyers should be vigilant to protect themselves from becoming victims.

Common eBay Item Scams:

Counterfeit Goods: Some sellers offer counterfeit or fake items, claiming them to be genuine. These items may include designer clothing, electronics, or luxury accessories. Buyers end up paying a premium price for low-quality imitations.

Non-Delivery Scams: In this type of scam, the seller accepts payment but never ships the item. They may provide fake tracking numbers or excuses for the delay, leaving buyers without their purchased products.

Bait-and-Switch: Deceptive sellers might showcase an attractive product in their listing but send a different, inferior item once the buyer makes the purchase. This leaves buyers disappointed with what they receive.

Shill Bidding: Some unscrupulous sellers employ fake accounts (shills) to artificially inflate the bidding price of their items, making buyers pay more than they should.

Phishing Scams: Scammers may send fake emails or messages that appear to be from eBay, requesting sensitive information such as login credentials or payment details. Unsuspecting users may fall for these phishing attempts, risking identity theft and financial loss.

Identifying Deceptive Sellers:
To protect yourself from eBay item scams, watch out for these warning signs:

Too Good to Be True Deals: If an item is listed at a price significantly lower than its market value, it may be a red flag.

Lack of Seller Feedback: Be cautious when dealing with sellers who have little or no feedback on their profiles. Established sellers with positive ratings are usually more trustworthy.

Incomplete or Vague Descriptions: Avoid listings with vague or incomplete product descriptions. A reputable seller will provide detailed information about the item's condition, specifications, and any flaws.

Private Listings: Some scammers make their listings private to hide their feedback and prevent buyers from learning about their history.

Pressure to Complete the Sale Off eBay: If a seller encourages you to complete the transaction outside of eBay's platform or offers to send additional offers via email, be cautious. These are common tactics used by scammers.

How to Protect Yourself:
To minimize the risk of falling victim to eBay item scams:

Check Seller Ratings: Review a seller's feedback and ratings from previous buyers. A high rating and positive comments indicate a reliable seller.

Use Secure Payment Methods: Always pay through eBay's recommended payment methods, such as PayPal. Avoid wire transfers or payment methods that offer no protection.

Read the Listing Carefully: Scrutinize the item description, photos, and shipping details. If something seems off, contact the seller for clarification.

Trust Your Instincts: If a deal appears too good to be true or a seller seems untrustworthy, it's better to walk away from the transaction.

Report Suspicious Activity: If you suspect a seller is involved in fraudulent activities, report them to eBay immediately.

Conclusion:
eBay item scams and deceptive sellers are unfortunate but avoidable pitfalls in online shopping. By staying vigilant, conducting due diligence, and following safety precautions, you can reduce the risk of falling victim to these scams and enjoy a safe and satisfying shopping experience on eBay.

Update.
He are now gonna send me the motor.

In early October I sent him a Cadillac headlight switch to rebuild. After lots of back and forth and conflicting excuses (lost in shipping and so on) I finally got ebay involved. Then he was able to send the switch in two days. So after two and half months I got the switch. It doesn't work. He strung me along so its past the date to leave feedback and I'm out the money (at least I got my switch back). You can't believe a word he says. I wish I'd have seen these reviews before I got involved with him.

UPDATE, The switch DOES work. He did seem to want to help me get it working.

I ordered a transmission module and relays for a 58 Edsel in May 2022.
He has been giving me the run around since then.
He always replies to my emails but with some unbelievable excuses.
I am $775 out of pocket.
I live in the UK but asked him to send to my buddy in Florida so I could collect from him when I visited last month.
He keeps asking me for my UK address and says he will pay the shipping but I know if I give him the address he will tell me he’s sent it then claim it has been lost in post.
Wish I saw Ford Parts Heaven website before I paid him.

Do not purchase through Ebay from this guy, I bought a power steering pump for a 56 Ford $500.00, told me he shipped it and Ebay lost it in shipping. Then he tells he is building another one, says it will ship that week. Two weeks later still no pump and now he tells me they lost it again. Fought with Ebay and they refuse to address the issue and closed the case. Now I am screwed out of $500.00.

Please avoid this guy. He has an alternate website at PTO vintage auto or [email protected]. I sent in my 1959 cadillac trunk lid pull down motor for repair/rebuild through eBay website. He said it would be $250 to rebuild in his ad. I paid him another $300 because he said it was in such bad shape. After stalling for 6 weeks(he originally said it would be 2 weeks to rebuild it) I asked eBay for my money back because he would not send it back or respond to my many emails. After repeated attempts to get my motor back, as this item is very hard to find and such, very valuable, I threatened him because I found out his second website. The address on eBay is a PO box, and the address on the PTO vintage auto parts website is the same post office address, NOT HIS ADDRESS, of the PO box. I was able to track him down through the name of the PayPal address I sent the $300 to, which is Sandra Parillo. This could be a relation to him. He finally sent me my motor back, I think only because I found out that Sandra Parillo lives in the town next to the Northridge, Ca. post office. Look up ScamPulse.com on PTO vintage auto parts and check what it says. Very bad person. He will keep your motor, and resell if possible for max profit. This man is a thief.
