Booked a Villa 1641 Retreat Circle Clermont, Florida via Booking.com. Checked in at 4:00 and inspected the Villa per the brochure instructions from Follow the Sun Vacation Rentals. The Villa smelled when we first walked in. Every single room had excessive damage. The walls were scratched and dirty. The woodwork was dirty. The drapes had stains on them. The tile floors seemed to be in good shape. The carpet was filthy with vacuum lines. The carpet was shot and had little stains and large stains. The stains were never cleaned but the cleaning service would vacuum over the stains. The bedding decor pillows smelled like dirty, oily head. The bed pillows for sleeping were frumpy, not hotel lines what so ever. Cheap bedding and pillows. The refrigerator had huge dents all over the door. The shower door had [censored] and hair. This is a 2-year-old home that had wear and tear that was not acceptable and we refused to stay in the filth and the owner/travel agent has refused to refund my $700 plus for 4 nights. Booking.com can not help because the agent refuses to issue a refund. I am reporting this to their local Better Business Bureau. We researched online and found at least 20 reviews that matched our complaints. The agent refused to answer his calls from us and refused to meet with us.
