I found this website by searching for airport parking by slc. He was headed out of Utah to return home for the holidays. I confirmed with the hotel that they did not have a shuttle to go from the hotel to airport but the traks was across the street for $1.50 to airport. So I booked with parking.com which is also way.com (based on email when I was trying to contact customer service, way.com was who it is run by). So my son shows up to park his car and had to wait 45 minutes to try to find someone that could take the reservation that we booked online and let him park there because he will be home for Christmas. But they refused to let him park there and refused to look at the email. I called the hotel directly and they did not know what I was talking about and the manager wasn’t in to speak to you. So I decided to have my son go to the airport for parking so that he doesn’t chance missing his flight because he was already pushing it on the time frame. I called way.com 800 number and spoke to a man and he said that he would not be able to issue a refund unless I show a receipt of my son parking at the airport. I asked him if he could call the hotel and see what was going on and for them to explain to him that he was not allowed to park at the hotel. He said he attempted to call but no one picked up. So I said I need the refund now. My son does not return for two weeks and won’t be able to have a receipt until those two weeks are done. But I had to pay double at the airport for the two weeks because this is obviously a scam. I asked way.com to be able to speak to the manager. And he transferred me to a voicemail and the phone was disconnected. I have attempted to try to call back twice and he will not answer I’ve tried to call the hotel again and they will not answer. I paid almost $90 for this parking for two weeks. I also had a slightly similar situation about a year ago when I booked through a third-party and it could’ve possibly been the same company. It sounded like the same customer service agents. On the website it says that there was a shuttle that is free to the airport. But once my son got there there was not a shuttle to take him to the airport so he had to pay for an Uber to get to the airport which cost more than the parking itself. However, this situation is even far worse than that. Because there was no actual parking spot available for him after we had booked it about three weeks ago. And no one is responding to my request for a reimbursement. Or a refund. Do not ever book with way.com or findparking.com. My son could’ve easily missed his flight with amount of time that it took to find out what the heck was going on. Pay the extra money and you won’t have to worry about this nonsense or Book directly from the hotel if they do offer parking. But obviously this hotel did not offer airport parking at all.
