Responded to a Craigslist posting from Butte, MT on a Kubota R420S tractor. Received an e-mail response from Sandra Grant claiming that her husband had died and she was selling the tractor. She said she had moved in with her daughter in Champlin, MN after recent throat surgery and the shipping company would handle all of the arrangements and delivery upon receipt of payment for $12,000. I contacted the shipping company (Fergus Transportation based in Fergus Falls, MN) to arrange inspection and was advised that, due to the Covid-19 virus an inspection would not be possible) They mentioned in their response about a contract between Beatrice Cooper and them but will all the same info about the tractor. I googled Beatrice Cooper and found references to similar scams.
