I called the number on the email and got a person who had a very thick accent. Supposedly the buyer received an email telling him the same thing. Then I was supposed to send a screenshot of the transaction of me sending five hundred dollars to this buyer. I could tell that this was not legitimate, because the English in the email, customer support agent, and buyer was not always grammatically correct. I did some research and found that zelle does not limit the amount a person can receive from somebody. I have all the text messages between me and the buyer. If you need me to send those to you. I was not about to send somebody five hundred dollars, especially since I had not previously received seven hundred dollars from the buyer, as the email stated I would.
