In an attempt to reach United Airline to make a late flight cancellation for my family (due to medical emergency) I ended up speaking to someone claiming to be an "Airline Reservation Specialist for United Airline" who could help me. She was able to access flight information and told me she could cancel and apply for refund however I would have to pay a $540.00 cancellation fee. The airfare was in excess of $3,000 dollars and she repeated that I would however be ensured to get that full refund. I had had emergency surgery and was not under normal circumstances but anxious to ensure cancellation and refund so authorized her to proceed.

I went back and forth with her for weeks asking for confirmation, update and so forth. I could tell something was off, I was eventually sent the verification of cancellation of the flights and that is it. I sent medical documents to this person who claimed to be processing refund.

I was then able to reach United Airline and elevated to realize this person was able to access my flight through working with a travel agency, there is NO fee to cancel or get a refund. A refund was NEVER submitted or applied for.

The airline told me they showed that Kayak booking cancelled the flights. My credit card was charged by Farevia LLC Travel

The woman gave me her direct number to contact her and also sent me information via email. phone 281-766-4904 [email protected]

I provided her with medical documents and personal information.

Airline confirmed this is a scam.
