An automated female voice claiming to be CRA was saying I am wanted for tax fraud and to call immediately back at a number that I did not write down as I had no plans to call back. Next time I will write it down but not call it. My wife had a similar call earlier this week but she just hung up on it. In hers it told her to have a lawyer present when making the call back. Neither my call or my wife's stated our names or asked for anyone by name.

I got a second call this morning from 315-949-5750. The first us in a report from a few days ago. The first call said a fraud had been found in my income tax Thai I was covering up. Here is the transcript of the second call:

“Attention. This is the second attempt to avoid initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense. This is the final attempt to reach you to resolve this issue immediately. You can speak to a federal agent, call us back on 315-949-5750 I repeat 315-949-5750 thank you…”

This was in a mechanical synthesized female voice.

Got a phone call about 6:30 this AM from a number in San Diego, 619-659-7840. An artificial voice said:

?"After audit we found that there was a fraud and misconduct on your tax filing which you are hiding from the federal government. This needs to be rectified immediately. To do so return the call on our direct line number the number is 619-659-7840 again 619-659-7840 thank you…”. (That was the number the call came from.)

I didn't return the call.

Voice Mail from 312-667-8452. "This is tax crime investigation unit of IRS. The reason you are receiving this pre-recorded message is to notify you that IRS has issued an arrest warrant against you. Received voice mail saying it was the irs, and they were filing suit against me, for unpaid taxes, they claim to have tried many times to contact me, and to return their call as soon as possible at (321)361-4735. Knowing from our local newscasts that the irs does not call in person , but sends a letter through the U.S. Mail, I knew some sort of scam was in progress. I returned the call, and the voice on the other end asked me for my name and address so that he could pull up my document, to which I replied that he may not. Before I was able to continue, he hung up on me.
