My husband placed an ad on Craigslist to sell his diesel truck. The scammer replied to the ad and asked us to remove it and that they will be sending a cashier's check in the mail to include the amount of the truck along with additional fees to cover the driver that would be picking up the truck and needed to get things from their storage. They wanted us to email them a copy of the cashier's check once it was deposited but the bank had put a hold on the check (thank God) so we weren't able to send them any funds. Once my husband told them that a hold was placed on the check we didn't hear from them again. Also. they had sent us an address and when I asked what this address was for again no response. The address given was * Staten Street Gloucester MA 01930. I hope this helps.
