Scammers posted an ad to make $700.00 a week to all an Autozone advertisement decal to be placed on your vehicle. I was contacted by text without a name attached stating my application was accepted and my first payment along with the instructions on how to get the decal placed on my vehicle was in the mail. I received another text asking if I had received it an after I received a envelope from the United Postal Service with a check for $ 3.850.80 drew up on a Bank of America check with a CrystalGeyser Water Company heading both having California addresses I got suspicious, but the letter attached has a Autozone letterhead and it has instructions for me to text proof back to that number once I had deposited the check and that the cost for the decal placement would come out of that check. I never let the person know I received the envelope, I google and found out that this sounded like some pat scams that was reported. That number texted me this morning and stated they needed a update soon.

Text popped up on my phone said howd you like to make $700. For advertising on your car from Canada dry? So i typed in my address and email. Week later I got letter and check by priority mail. For $3,849.99. From a company called M.H. Stores from Wisconsin. I waited till today, my day off so I could show my friend (and CRS) and we googled and checked on computer different things. I knew/felt it was fraud...so I have original envelope, letter and check. I want something done so prople are not ripped off and hurt. Was this check stolen? Whos responsible? How many others we not smart enough to not deposit it????
