I received an email saying “We want to offer you a completely remote work of a Personal Assistant.” I assumed I had applied through LinkedIn job posting because I’m currently looking and applied to a bunch. Then we had a 3 minute phone call and already sent me an employment contract to fill out personal information. The website is fake and when I search the corporation online it doesn’t seem to exist. I try calling the number and no one ever answers.

Same as the other job offer 4 weeks training 2,400 at end and 5,400 if top 10%. The sent materials everyday then offered a position but wanted me to use my credit card to buy products with money they fund.

Atlantis Consulting offers to be hired for an open position for Customer Service Officer (Remotely). Asking to complete I-9 form with social security number, name and address, also for a copy of a photo ID. They call for a phone interview, and the only contact email is from James Malone, Customer Service Manager. Malone is the only in direct contact via email and a phone app called telegram that I had to download to my cell phone. Please see uploaded files.

I have been looking for a job for over 4 three months. The only interested employee comes to be a scammer. I am despaired to find job and now probably victim of Identity theft. Could you please help me with this situation.

Thank you in advance for your help to this matter.

I was contacted about an online Administrative Assistant Data / Entry Clerk job. I was instructed to download a Signal App on my phone as a means of conducting the interview. After the interview I was accepted for the position. I was then told that they were going to mail me a check to cover the cost of the equipment to get me started as soon as possible. I received the checks and was instructed to deposit them into my bank account. The next morning I was asked if the funds were showing they were available. Then because the funds were available I was instructed to send $1000.00 to Candice Jones through Cash App. Then I was instructed to withdraw $7500.00. After the withdraw I was told to take the money to a Bitcoin machine (which I had no idea of how to work or what it was.) I was given step by step instructions on depositing the money into the Bitcoin machine. Then When I looked at my account on the morning of 7/5/2023, I owed all this money and the people that I was going to go to work for were no longer answering me back. Now I am thousands of dollars in behind with my bank, going to lose my home, my car, and have no way to take care of my son or even look for a job because of this. I feel as if my life has been destroyed just because I was looking for at home work to finish school. I thought that Indeed, Linkedin, and Glassdoor were safe job sites.

I answered an ad for a work at home job, posted by T**** ******. She then told me to download Telegram Messenger to have an interview online. She gave me a link number and said ****** *****s would be who I’d talk to. Brandi asked me questions and then said she thought I was a good fit, to wait online to be vetted by board at her job. She then stated I was hired and to please send information. I then asked her about job and where it’s located. She replied Data Entry and Pennsylvania. Then she asked me for the front and back of my state ID and if I had an active credit card. The company would need the credit card information to send me the computer equipment I would nee. I then asked her to send me company information as I was wary of being scammed. Once I asked for validation information I was ghosted no replys from Brandi Coates after that.

Sent a 2 checks for 1960 and asked to deposit the check and deduct 400 for my commission wanted me to buy gift cards take pictures of the gift cards and receipts and send it to Luis Holmes

Applied for a job listing on ZipRecruiter, linked to an external site https://careers.one.pet/ - was contacted by Keira Scarlet and informed I was hired for the job without an interview. Lots of personally identifying information was requested, which I declined to submit without verifiable contact information from the company said to be handling recruiting for OnePet, LLC - I haven't gotten a response to my request and am concerned about the validity of HLPM Consulting, Inc. in relation to hiring at OnePet, LLC.

Applied to the IRS customer support position on indeed.com 2 months ago and yesterday I received an email that I am being considered and to contact DANIELLE BETHUNE-BERGERON at [email protected] to confirm the interview and fill out an application. This person reached back with the application and asked me to send a filled application and photo ID. I sent it back and then they asked me to complete verification on https://www.id.me. Then they asked me for the credentials of my ID.me account. I provided my photo ID and ssn :(

I was emailed a job offer like the other individual. They said they were going to call me to do a phone interview which they did Monday. Not sure how they got my phone number or my email address I have been applying for jobs on Indeed and LinkedIn so I assume there’s a leak there perhaps I finished the interview they sent me an email offered me a job with a link to rightsignature.com where I could enter all my info. I decided to check further into Spitako before giving any more of my info and came across this bbb.org case which is identical to mine!

I was emailed by Rob about a possible position, and sent information about an HR Manager named Joe.

I went through the instant messaging process via discord and promised a pre-programmed laptop, a phone, and a check for software.

I havent gotten the check, yet, but since I checked this site I don't think I will deposit it.
