All I have right now is that the business had originally told me that they were going to be using Webex to communicate with people. They are making a position titled "Personal Assistant" and saying it is a virtual position. Within this, the hiring process, they send you a confirmation email to confirm information and connect you with a internship manager who you connect with through webex. The work they had me do consists of organizing personal information from resumes into a spreadsheet/word document. They did not take my personal information at the beginning other than resume and drivers license. Anytime I would ask more questions about the position the answers would be vauge as well as I could not seem to get in contact with anyone outside of my direct internship manager. I had to sign up with an account on WISE.com to begin to "learn the investing process" my account on wise was suspended and then they had me try to set up a account with Truist and at one point mentioned that I would need to input my own money and they would reimburse me at which point I contested and then requested a virtual meeting to discuss this with them and a manager, they have not gotten back to me on that yet, but all my research has been showing this phone number/website/address does not link up to this actual company

I was contacted about a remote job for $30 an hour. They interviewed me through Google Team and said I would be the perfect fit. Then they sent me a check via email for $4750.00 to deposit into my account through mobile deposit so I could buy equipment. They wanted proof that I deposited the check into my account my sending a picture of my bank info. (I did NOT cash the check or send them any of my bank information)

Told me I was hired for a position and was going to be given funds to buy materials for the job, received the check and deposited it, and it turns out the check was returned because it was counterfeit.

I was hired for a position.

Was given a schedule.

Worked 28.5 hours to be paid $15 and told its a “commission only” position. I was under the impression, if you are given a schedule by an employer, said employer is legally required to pay hourly wage for said schedule.

I had a microsoft teams interview with a Mr. Robert **** who stated that the address is Suite 1006, 365 Little Collins St, Melbourne VIC Australia 3000 but that they are trying to get into the United States in the state of California. I tried to call the number back that I rec'd a text from and just goes to voice mail. I left a message this morning. Tried to call from a different phone and was asked to leave a message again did not state who the number was or anything else. It was my wife who was looking for job work from home. Scammers texted her and set everything on whatsapp number. They call their company Cambridge Mobile but their domain was cambridgeyobile-oi.com. That was the start. They make my wife invest 100USD everytime with Newton wallet and then make her buy ETH and then they provide her a 20word long address to transfer money to their Cambridge Mobile workbench. So everytime they stop the task for her and make her deposit 5000USD, 7500 USD, 16000 USD, 20000USD and 10000USD. and now they ask for 16000USD for personal Tax.

I am totally emptied up now and they gave me time till tonight. Yesterday I went to the Police station and tell them everything. Please Help Us to get the money back. I have already saved all the files and chats they send us

Answered a series of normal interview questions via Telegram App. Was “hired” right away and then asked for email followed by financial institution. I gave email, but stopped there as it was a major red flag at that point.

I was reached out via email from a Samson Alvin and had Adventhealth in the signature. They told me they liked my resume and if I wanted to schedule an interview reach out to the Bryan Gibbs via microsoft teams. He conducted the interview via instant message. He gave me the address of the hospital and told me what they represent and the job duties. Later that day they told me i was hired. He told me he was going to be sending a check to purchase the work materials because it was a remote job. I received it and deposited it into my account. The bank was truist bank. I calles them to verify the check and they told me hospitals use this bank so I thought it was legit. I also received hire documents. They requested front and back picture of my ID and a photo of myself for my work ID. I sent that and completed the applications which included my ss #. Bryan Gibbs instructed me to send money to different people via zelle & paypal but i thought it was to the vendors who were going to send me the work materials. Later on I called the hospital and asked for the hr person I got the hire documents from and was told she didnt send it, that they weren't even hiring for the position i was hired for. So it was all a scam. Fraudelent. I put freezes on my credit accounts, activated fraud alerts and got lifelock.

I was approached by a Sandra Chopra via text message about a job offer, I thought nothing weird because my resume is public on indeed and she said she found it there before I even mentioned it. Then she says to download the SIGNAL app to talk with a talent acquisition manager. I talked to a David Roberts and we did an interview via messages on that app. The questions were really interview like so he told me I got the job and told he was going to send me a job offer. In the meantime I looked in google about this FLOWER INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGIES AB. They had a LEGIT website with the "people" that work there with picture and everything and the girl that contacted me via email with the W4 and the job offer was there in the website so they really thought this through. I unfortunately sent back the W4 with my personal information and they kept sending me these tasks to do every day such as responding questions about my experience. Then they said they are going to send me a check for the materials and when I received them I saw 2 checks for around $5k each and the sender on the package was OLD NAVY? I am like what? I asked them and they said that they have many affiliates that owe them money and this is their way of paying. Of course from that moment on I played dumb and they were pushing me to deposit the checks that same day because they were going to report how quick I completed the task. So I told them that if I had time that day I would do it if not I would do it by next day and they said oh if you can't go to the bank do a mobile deposit. So I never deposited the checks and I wouldn't like to know what would have happened if I did. I ended up ripping them off and throwing them away.

Below is a copy and paste of the email I received. I did not contact anyone prior to the email about employment. Let alone with the company that they say they are representing. Very similar to what was described by others. Email was titled Job Offer and they provided a code I was to give to the hiring manager when I contacted them via a Teams link. I didn't recall applying for the position described, and it was a remote/telework position. It seemed suspicious, and then I noticed the email address. I looked up the company and in the search results it sounded suspiciously like a legit company, until I came across the ScamPulse.com scam warning.

Previously I had participated in a chat interview, supposedly from a job shop which got my resume off of a job board, but the responses were too pat and they didn't balk at conducting it while I was driving, so I dropped the message and blocked the phone number.

- Edmond, OK, USA

I received an email from careers.*************** from a recruiter named ****** ******. In order to schedule an interview I needed to create an account on *********. Once I created an account for Larksuite I was contacted by Dwyane Norman via DM. They provided me with the job description and responsibilities and I answered questions about my remote and data entry experience.

***** **** does exist. I attempted to learn more about the dr.com email address and learned that it again does exist. It wasn't until they mentioned the wage and the massive amount of equipment I would receive that I decided this was absolutely a scam. $31.00 per hour and the timezone for hours just so happened to be my own. The long list of equipment that I would receive included printers, monitors, an iPad, and more.

Worked for the company didn't receive payment, blocked every way of contact.

After recieving a text about a Data Entry position I supposedly applied to on Indeed, I recieved an email about setting up an interview with a Chris Reeder on either Skype or Microsoft Teams. I was also instructed to talk to Casey Jones if i had any questions. I did not pursue farther after finding this scam post.

- Pueblo, CO, USA

Scam began with an add on a legitimate job search site. I received a call from Greta Rainsford at 516-241-6858 confirming an interview time and providing information for the interview. I then received an email from Kathy Jo Daley with a 'pre-interview questionnaire' that had no way to submit it to the supposed employer. Two minutes before the interview I went to workathomeotb.com and was redirected (as they said I might be) to a different website with a 10 min sales video detailing a MLM scheme and using the fear tactic that AI will take over the world and cost everyone their jobs unless we join this group. Then they presented subscription levels.
