I was targeted via email about a job and asked to please send my resume, which I did. I was quickly told that I got some job, paying $1690.00 weekly, plus benefits. After a bit, I realized what was happening. They sent me a check and said I was to look up airline dlights for them, after depositing the check. I emailed them that back I was not interested in the job and that I would not deposit the check, but return it by certified mail. I did receive a check in the mail today for $2483.99.

Scammer reached out to me with a fake job offer and then through WhatsApp asked me to signup for an account in their website. Scammer then stated the purpose of the job was to entered fake reviews on products being sold through Amazon.

- North Miami Beach, FL, USA

The scammer contacted me through various numbers. First over text (619)384-7647 then over whatsapp (517)786-1032 the customer service (210)248-4838 and (215)989-8110. They tell you that you that they are a part of the Digital Dot company based in NY and that you will be helping through a content recommendation engine. The task is just to sumit products that they show you on their site. They ask you to connect your crypto wallet or cash app as they do not pay in dollars. Once you work completing the first task they assign, they ask you to deposit money in to the account they create for you with the excuse that you need to have $100 minimum in the account in order for them to send you leads to confirm on their platform. If you do not deposit the money they go to the next person and do not "allow you" to work any more for them.

Hi! Did they ask you to return what you have earned while working there?

I applied to a customer service position on career builder for a company called handypros agency. They responded with forms to fill out with my information, they sent documents that looked very real about the company and job. I noticed it was a scam when a email was sent for the “CEO” and the signature didn’t match the printed name

- Blakeslee, PA, USA

I applied to a job posted on Indeed, for a Customer Service Representative. I received a reply that I was a strong candidate for their Personal Assistant position. The person asked me to describe myself, and my work relations. The job offer seemed to be too good to be true. I decided to go back to the ad placed on Indeed, and I couldn't find the posting. I tried to look the company up on line, and it does bring me to a website, with a person of the same name and company name, except in the email offer the company name was provided without INC. on the end and the online website uses INC. I have saved the email chain and I can include it as part of this report.

- Carlisle, PA, USA

I was emailed from a fellow Shippensburg University email and approached about a job opportunity that meets the exact description I read. I filled out a google doc form and entered my name phone number email and the bank I use. Upon thinking more I realized it was odd that they requested which bank I use which led me to here. No account numbers were given out but it is very odd and worrysome they reached out through my school email.
