Got contacted by one person through email and a second person by phone call. I was accepted for the position on the spot. A couple days later I was given a contract and a W4 form to fill out which I did with my SS# and home address and was given access to a legitimate CRM web-app to start.
I kept questioning the person, I talked to on the phone and by email this a legitimate company. Never got a trusted answer and I'm scared my SS# and address is compromised for trying to work.
I started to realize it was a scam when i couldn't talk to the hr or manager on the phone directly.
