individual rang my doorbell and said he was working on my neighbor's roof to notice shingles missing from my roof. he will spray flex seal for *** to fix it. 3 hispanic individuals were involved. they climbed up on the roof, tore shingles and cast them over for me to discover the following day. videoed the damage to show me and then proceeded to spray with so called flex seal. i tried to cancel but they said it was done. about 5 minutes passed. now they told me 78 gallons of so called flex seal was used at *** a gallon. initially i said i only had **** and now the cost is almost *****. i said i haven't that money. we looking at each other and now it's a mexican stand off, no pun intended. driver of the white pickup truck says Merry Christmas and they drive off. will they be back? great, i fell for one of the oldest trick in the book and now im living in paranoia.

I too read a post on facebook stating a work from home job with great benefits was available. I went through the questions, was approved and was asked for personal info. I gave some, but when asked for my social security number, all bets were off for me. I asked where the company was located, why were they asking for all of that info? *** ********* ****** ***** showed me a photo of herself along with a picture of her Nielsen Hiring Manager employee ID. I then searched her info online and came across many Scam Alerts with her name and photo ID on it. I told her I was going to report her becuase she has some of my personal info and showed her people reported her and the company as a scam.

I was contacted by email for a job offer. They called me and set up an interview with them. Everything seemed legit but I think it was a scam and he was misrepresenting himself and the company.

Someone reached out saying they got my information from CareerBuilder about the work from home Black & Decker position I applied for. I completed an online interview process through Microsoft teams app with Adam after all the steps they offered me a job had me fill out and send back paperwork and e-filed a check for me to mobile deposit which did not go through and have had no response since .

They scammed me as a fake job site they took all my info my id social security card number my bank info logged me out my account and not responding to any of my emails or phone calls

My experience was pretty much the same. I thought it seemed to good to be true. However when you see you are actually making money an can withdraw it you start to believe it. I made money the first 3 days boosting these so called apps. Kept re-investing got what they call bonus package which made my ballance negative. That's when I put money of my own in it. The Trainor acted like she borrowed me $500. I got the account positive again just for it to hit another so called bonus now it's $4,600 negative and can t get any of my funds out. Should have known it was to good to be true. Sad that people take money from others. I have all the screen shots as well

Initially reached out via Text Message to schedule an interview via Teams and had me reference a Job ID;HuG-B9 with name of Lynette Yoder. Once interview was completed, they offered ma job with an offer letter and then wanted mt to purchase office supply items totaling over $1000.

Someone texted me about my resume on Indeed and asked me to download "Element Messaging" to conduct the interview with "Taylor Pennington, PhD." Very generic interview questions, not related to the job. Then they sent me a fake check to pay for home office supplies and they tried to get me to give up banking info to direct deposit into my bank account.

I was scrolling the internet and this job popped up, to work from home. I'd asked the important question, so i figure they were legit. They asked for my banking info, so they can direct deposit my checks when i start. They told me that they were going to deposit the money in my account so that i can purchase the equipments that I'd needed to start. They told me that they deposit it

When I'd looked at my banking account, there were several claim reversals. I'd called my bank and they told me that someone made a claim. That's when I'd asked the company why were they doing claims? They tried to deny it. I called my bank and told them that i didn't file a claim. They put a fraud alert and i had to go to the bank so they can give me another account number.

I don't remember applying for the job and it actually confused me at first because I thought it was for another job I just interviewed for. They wanted me to set up accounts with Gemini and Coin Base. Said I had to use my own account information. He said "The reason we can't give you access to the company account is that exchange platforms have strict policies regarding who can use the account and only a limited number of people can do so. Additionally, due to high demand for our cryto exchange services, we cannot process all requests...." Can't find a website for them. Can't find a email for them. Can't find the logo they are using anywhere else on the internet.

I applied for a job and was told the co sends all products needed. They took all my personal info , then proceeded to tell me to purchase a gift card for 200 to pay for software.

Received a check for $1920 along with a letter stating he represented The Hersey Company and upon cashing the check and getting 2 $500 gift cards and i would keep remainder for my first payment. So i deposited it into my bank account via snapshot now my account is locked i called Capitol One soon after I deposited it however it didn't make a difference. I dont have a snapshot i tore it up and now i cannot even get a real person on the phone

I was offered a job to go on a website and do 'journeys' . Journeys are when you go place to place on the website and give them 5 start ratings, which you make a commission off. Every so often you get a premium ticket and you have to pay Money to get that ticket. The first premium ticket might be for $200, the next will be for $400, the next will be for $600. Then if you are 'lucky' enough to get a 4th premium ticket you have to pay $12000. The first few times i did it they did pay me, this last time with the $10000 they did not.

Was for a job to be an assistant and a family member of mine had put a Keybank check of 20,000 into the account and he was supposed to be paid 4000 and it was turned out that the check was fraudulent
