They posed as a legitmate company and used names from the offical website. I did an online test as ab interview and a few days later was told i got tue job. In the email it asked for typical work documents and proof of identity and direct deposit information. I was sent a check to deposit and once i did told to contact another person to pay for my supplies. Once i transferred the money i was told i to wait 2 days for shipment. I went to the company websote and theu had a warning about someoje posing as them. I contacted my banks frqud department and FBI ajd FTC

I'm unemployed and looking for jobs. I submitted my resume to Monster.com but got no responses for a very diverse resume in my field.

During a search I found what seemed to be a perfect fit for a job and submitted a resume.

I didn't realize it wasn't to an actual employer but just another so called job site until I looked into it further.

I had submitted my resume jobot.com

Since then I have gotten 1 to 2 phone calls and/or e-mails from headhunter agencies a day. I am in WI and all the calls are coming from way out of state. Just a quick list, I am getting contacted from places in TX, VA, WA and FL for jobs that are just outside of search setting for range of commute (50mi). I figure that is a standard distance for most since it's about an hour drive normally. All of the contacts have had a strong Indian accent and/or names except for a Joseph Smith who still had a strong accent when I talked to him on the phone. I had expanded my search area on Indeed.com and almost all of these offers seemed familiar so I started checking. The head hunters I am being contacted by are grabbing jobs that the employers are directly advertising on Indeed but not on Monster. The one job had asked me for what rate of pay I was looking for and after explaining that it depended on which skill set they needed and gave him a low and high amount for the type of job. He said it would pay my lower amount but when I found what seemed the exact job in the same city they were offering $12/hr. more. Seems like they are looking for jobs to offer outside of the normal travel distance at a lower pay. It doesn't seem exactly illegal but is something that should be looked into.

They came to my 19 year old daughters rental house. I got a call stating I would need to CO sign in order for her to have this great job with a company. I CO signed an agreement without any understanding of what was actually going on no call from company explaining how this money would go to employ my daughter. I get a bill in the mail at my residence my daughter is not on this account with me. They were using this as a way to scam a 19 yr old into spending $4,967.73 with the promise of a commission based job. I let a guy come to my house at a much later date. He stated to me this would be wired and rewired in any location at the different residence or be wireless at any residence. I have spoken with the company who has since told me daughter well they are relocating so the scam continues. They are not willing to work with me in any matter. They just state we are mad. I am mad about the fraud and scam that was ran on myself who was hours away from a transaction that was taking place and a 19 year old getting taken advantage of.

There are job posting online that seem to be fake. I havent realize some were fake until later on. Ive given my name and personal information. This has been on linkedin which use to be always a reliable source of networking for job opportunities but no longer is. This has been the case not just with linkedin but also with indeed as well as ziprecruiter. I keep getting contacted about job opportunities from foreigners. Im not sure why.

I keep receiving emails from this Person who claims I have been hired by ALDI for employment. I always get the emails telling me: 1-I have been hired; 2-they are impressed with my resume; 3-I have an interview, but never tells me where and I am to choose a time. Looking further in her personal FB page: it is an Advertising Agency. The Page ID a4a53073637892465; Page manager locatin is: Brazil. I see that there are many followers. The picture is of a young lady and she seems to be always actively online. kI have sent her emails, thinking that this was a real job opportunity. NOKW I can not seem to get off and stop this.

I received an offer from Horrizon Organic Company to wrap my car with a branded vinyl decal and drive around under the drive around program. They sent me an agreement. In the upper left corner it says Horizon Organic Dairy, Consumer Connections, 12303 Airport Way, Ste 200, Broomfield, CO 80021 - but this is the address for a different business. They are offering $850 a week via Quickbooks via echeck for 14 weeks to wrap my car - they are sending someone to wrap it and unwrap it at the end of the 14 weeks.

I was working a cashier job until I was offered a job that I had to quit

my job for; to train for 21 days to become a remote project manager,

then after the 21 days I would be hired as a full project manager. I was

informed through email and phone conversations, by Sarra Malik, that

this was a completely remote position. She then told me the compensation

would be $36 per hour at 6 hours a day for training and that after I

would be making salary. I decided to take the job offering and start on

December 6th 2024 and that was when I officially started the training. I

worked from December 6th up to today December 11, 2024. On December

10th 2024 I partially worked due to a doctors appointment. We discussed

that she is logging all the hours I worked and that I will be receiving

compensation throughout training. On December 11th 2024, I received the

assignment to make a Crypto account and to link my personal bank account

to it ( which I didn’t) to proceed. I then figured it was a scam and

tried to get my old job back but was denied.

Contacted via text. Said they had my resume and if I expressed interest in position they would drop documents explaining positions in my Google drive. Sensing it was a scam I asked them to forward me the resume if mine they have on file. Instead they texted back that they dropped documents in my Google drive. How do I protect my computer and info from them. I emailed scammer @

[email protected]

Reiterating I did NOT give then permission to do anything with My Google Drive and if they don't correct it I will report them to FBI

Also, the phone # the text came from doesn't accept calls, only texts.

I submitted my resume. When contacted I was told that I needed to download Team. I asked if Zoom was possible since I already had it downloaded and had heard from other persons seeking employment potential scam companies would suggest WhatsApp. She said they only use Team. Then advised me to download it in order to continue with the interview process. I did not but received another text stating they were very interested and needed to continue the process to be considered for employment. I again suggested Zoom where she sounded as though she was frustrated. I asked for a phone number to contact the office directly and she hung up. I have not had further communication from her. The name and location of Pyramid Consulting was greyed out which I felt was suspect. I was asked about onboarding prior to the interview. I asked why if I don't have the job yet. She sent me a letter with the company name and address also greyed out indicating to me it was not a legitimate company. I have not had further communication.

The EXACT same thing happened to me. I just dealt with a lady on the Teams app after being accepted as a hire for a “Data Analyst” position. The lady’s name was Jennifer Rodriguez. I tried to call also but no answer. A scam!

Jobcase has been sending me hundreds of bogus emails about job openings. Also if you click on any job it automatically asks questions about signing up for college classes. However after giving them my phone number now I am being flooded with calls day and night about affordable health insurance. I try an ask to be removed from the call list yet more calls continue.

using the number through the whatsapp I have the number of Narcissa. Narcissa walked me through the process even after I asked many questions, I never asked if there was any proof it was legitimate. After going through the process of working for them I also have website https://www.zagat-vip.com/index.html#/, which the workers use to take orders. Orders are made and then reimbersed using their system. At a point there are combination orders where the orders cost more than the funds already in the system can manage. So the employee is required to put in their own money to fill in the remaining balance. After, all of the money is then reimbersed once again. It's through Ethereum and I have made an attempt in taking the money out but it's been a day since I made the request, it still hasn't gone through, so I continue to work.
