Someone from Emerson and Grafton has been calling claiming to be trying to collect on a debt account from Slumberland. As it wasn't a total I have ever had with Slumberland, I called the store personally, and they said there has never been a charge for anywhere near that amount, nor has anything ever been sent to collections for me by them. The collections person also has my name backwards, but did know the last 4 of my SSN, which is unnerving. When they called again this morning, I demanded written proof of the debt and that I had contacted Slumberland, and they would not send that information to me. They just wanted an account to pull money from to pay the debt, which when they did not get from me they hung up on me.
