And they messaged me after I visited their page, at first they needed to verify my identity and then over time, it took a turn when they asked me to deposit money for them in order to receive a check for past due rent.
Then they had me get in contact with a man who was going by the name of Joseph Samuel, using a number with a 337 area code and a Gmail account, claiming to be the Board Director for the ERAP.
I tried researching him on the web, but there were no records of him that came up in the search results, which did concern me because I have been scammed before.
That's when all kinds of red flags started to pop up and all that when they asked me to make a tax deposit for them in my CashApp account days later.
Immediately, I started questioning their business practices and pretty much told them to delete all my PII or that I am reporting them to the authorities.
They shrugged it off like I am the one who is acting crazy.
Now that they have some of my PII, I worry they may try to hack me.
Thankfully, my password to my online banking system has recently changed and it temporarily disabled.
Anyway, I want everyone to beware of this individual, Joseph Samuel....this is the number and email, that he uses, at least with me.
