directcard charged up front fees. The fees were paid. A card was sent but it was made impossible to activate the card. A refund was offered after a 30 day "safety" hold. It is a month past the 30 day hold and no refund has been recived.

They made you pay a $95 processing fee up front but never delivered. When I requested a refund, they say it was a 30 hold until they send a check and it’s been over 3 months and still no refund.

Paid $95 to open a credit card. I was told after the payment that I was denied for the credit card and I would be receiving a full refund via check in the mail. Never did I receive this money back. I've emailed this company numerous times. Never did get a response. Phone number listed on the website is a joke. Please be careful when opening a credit card!

I filled out for a credit card and was approved by direct card, I paid the fees then they tell me I’m not approved and I’ll receive a refund in the mail but never received anything and it’s going on 3-4 months now.

Signed up for credit card, approved. Site kept stating delayed due to number of applications; I emailed several times with the same response, then told them I was reporting for fraud and received a reply that they couldn't approve the application for a card and the funds would be returned after a 30 day hold. Over two weeks now since the 30 day hold has expired and no refund check has arrived.

Applied for direct reserve credit card in April 2026. Waited for my card as well as had email correspondence telling me to wait longer for my card in June 2026. The email addresses I contacted were [email protected] and [email protected]. Finally got logged into my acct using last 4 of SS and DOB THE FIRST WEEK IN JULY. The website told me I was not granted credit and to reserve a refund check for the 95.00 in fees I paid. I did so. Today is August 17th. I have no refund, am getting no response from the emails and cannot find a correct customer service phone that doesn’t hang up on me.

I was looking for a credit card to help me re-build my credit when I came across the offer. I applied and approved for $300 and with regular payments my credit would increase. I was asked to pay a fee of $95 which I did. Was told I would receive card in 7 to 10 business days. Waited 20 days and when I didn't receive it I called and was told the card had not been processed. I canceled the card and was told 7 to 10 days to receive refund. Waited about 3 wks and was told the same thing. Once I canceled I was no longer able to talk to a live person because I didn't have a card. Tried to email but of course it is not valid. I was informed that my account had a fraud alert. The company tried to take $35. It was paid and I was charged $20 for overdraft.

Applied for the card, paid 180.00 & I was not able to activate the card, customer service never available, emailed to cancel & refund my funds, it's been 3 months & still no refund. This is a scam!

I applied for a credit card in April was told I would receive it around May.. May dates come no card, reach out by phone and learned that the company was new and to give them grace, cards would arrive in a week or two.. That timeframe came reached out via email, was told give it a few more weeks, that time past no card was delivered. I was then told give it the end of the month. Almost three months later, nothing. Now the phone number doesn’t work if you have no card number and the email address is showing doesn’t exist.

I signed up for a card on May 23, 2026. I called multiple times they said there was something dealing with USPS so the card was never delivered. They attempted to make a refund on June 23, 2026 as of July 13, 2026 I have not received a refund and they will not call me and the email said that it is fake and the phone number they will not let me speak to customer service because I never did receive the bank card I don’t have the bank card information.

Pretends to approve an application for a credit card, first having you pay activation and other fees, then waits a very long time. When you go back to check on the mailing of said approved card, you get the run around till they much later tell you in fact you were not approved and have to wait an additional 30 days before they will supposedly mail you back the $95 you paid. The whole thing seems to be a big scam.

I was approved for a $300 rebuilding credit card and had to pay a $35 application fee and a $60 processing fee. I paid that on May 22, 2026. I allowed 14 business days to allow for them to process my card and called once and they gave me this story that they were a new company and it was taking longer so I waited 2 more weeks and called back on the 29th of June and they told me that I can expect my card to be mailed out by the end of the week. I logged into my account today and received a message that said I was no longer approved and could expect a refund by check in 30 days. Now I am afraid that I will not receive a refund.

I signed up for a credit card that took 2 months to get. I was told to pay a fee for 60 and 35 to active. I got it and now one answers the phone saying no one is available and leave a message i have and no one answers.

This was a credit card application that was approved. After the fees were paid and were deducted from the bank account. A good amount of time has passed, so I contacted the company via email inquiring the status of the arrival of the credit card, I explained that I was leaving for vacation and would like to have had the card before I left. I received an email back stating that it was still in the processing stage and I would get another email or notification when the card was sent. It’s been about a month since the application was approved and I am still having email correspondence with several different people. So I requested that the application fee be canceled and my refund to be issued. I have received two emails asking to verify my full name email address telephone number and last four digits of my Social Security number. I have asked again to have this application canceled and my refund issued to me they keep beating around the bush and they are not doing so I just want my $90 back.

I was "approved" for a $300 credit card 4/23/2026. I paid the $95 activation fee and was promised a credit card within 10 days. It is 6/8/2026. I have emailed several times and always told there is a "delay in the credit card shipping" and keep being told there is no eta.
