Direct Mediation Group, DMG, contacted me by phone representing themselves as a mediation firm contracted by Check N Go to resolve an online payday loan I had absolutely no knowledge of from 9/11/2015, saying they were required to place a judgment on my credit report if it wasn't taken care of.

They had ALL of my information including my banking info, so I thought while I never did that, it was legitimate. I set up payment arrangements with them, paid them a total of $535.32 and they emailed me a paid in full letter.

Then Ross Financial Recovery contacted me two days later about the same claim saying they were the authorized collectors on the account, and told me to call Check N Go directly, which I did.

The supervisor (Beth) at Check N Go said DMG isn't familiar to her and is likely a scam. She directed me to United Debt Holdings (the agency they contract with) at 800-860-1582, where I can't get a live person, but their automated system directs my SSN to Chebat Portfolio Management CPM.

I can't access their website and instead followed the link to the ScamPulse.com site to lodge a complaint. I have bank records, text messages, and an emailed paid in full letter from DMG, but they say they are a green company, don't have a mailing address, don't send or receive mail through the postal system and only communicate via email. I just want my money back.

On 11/2/17 I received a call from someone claiming to be with Direct Mediation Group. She claimed that there were 2 allegations in her office against me. She insisted that I give her my date of birth and social security number. I refused to give her the information and asked what the allegations were & who made them. She refused to provide me with that information. I asked for a mailing address for her office. She refused to provide it, saying only that they have an office in Miami, FL. I asked her for a call back number & she provided the number as 510 255 2511 (When I called that # later it was a non-working number). She continued to insist that I provide her my date of birth & social security number. When I refused, she stated she threatened to pursue legal action against me & hung up. I pulled up the phone # the woman had called from, called it back & when I asked who I was speaking with, she hung up.

Yes this company would call me up and say they are trying to collect a debt but when I ask them for address and proof they won't give it to me. There's name Anthony Hall and his number supposedly 281-407-5007 (Texas) and I really don't know what that's too. And when I ask them for address they hang up on me. Or tell me there going to take legal action against me. I don't have any thing with there name on it or how much I owe Nothing this sounds to spacious.
