I had never heard of digibuffnet until they made fake charges to my account.
I’m an 84 year old widow and I really think it’s a scam.

When I received a new phone I attempted to transfer data from one to the next, I downloaded what I thought was a free app to transfer data, the app was impersonating the actual app and signed me up for a 39.99 / month service that was not disclosed or described. I disputed the charge with my bank one month and they charged me again the next month. I was not sure how to classify this precisely it is essentially a bait and switch type scam where they indicate they need to verify your identity but no charges will be made, etc. and you are signing up for a service that is not at all evident in the process.
