My daughter received a phone call regarding my elderly father who is dying of cancer. They said we needed to contact them asap regarding a complaint on ***** ******- my father- I called the rudest person I have ever talked to answered. She refused to give any info on the case- what was wrong- who the company was or what the amount was. She keeps harassing my dying father but with a claim from 2004 that we know nothing about. I have tried calling multiple times and keep getting hung up on- they will not tell us what he owes if anything or to whom. They keep harassing a dying man but will not let me his power of attorney have any info regarding the case if there is one.

Called with a case #. Said it was from a Capital One account and they were taking me to court. They did know my SS #, although I did not confirm it. I told them to come serve me!

The scammer left a voice mail for my mother to call back 860-339-8389. When she called back the scammer stated that they were contacting my mother in regards to a vehicle she no longer owns and paid for over 15 years ago. They stated that they were calling from an attorney's office and that my mother's account was no longer in collections and that they were offering her a settlement for $1,500 instead of $3,300 instead of transferring it to the judge at the Hartford Courthouse. They had my mother's former address from 20 years ago and the last four digits of her social security as well as an old email address. They offered to take a payment over the phone for a minimum of $330. My mother is disabled and on limited income. They threatened to send federal Marshalls to the house to serve my mother to appear in court on January 8 in CT. I hung the phone up and told them to email me the documentation.

Was advised by attorney named Kevin Segal I would be taken to court for non payment from company Houston Funding which I’ve never dealt with and never heard of such company. He also mentioned company BestBuy which I don’t have any account with such company. He mentioned I would be taken to court for non payment. I’ve never received anything from either company.

Scammer left a voicemail regarding a complaint file: “ Hi, this is Stacy Barber calling from National Asset Management in regards to a civil complaint that has been filed against either you, your social or someone associated with this phone number. I need an immediate call back from either you or your legal representative today at telephone number 833-795-5753 again that telephone number is 833-795-5753. Good luck.”

Lady using name Vivian Graham called my dad saying he was being served and she needed him to call back. He gets these calls semi weekly always saying they will be coming to serve him either at home or his place of employment. We know theyre trying to scam because his credit score is well over 800. All his debts are paid in full!

Received a call and they left the following voicemail. "This is Willie Williams with Northwest Mediation Services. This message is solely intended for (Name). My office has been retained to retrieve a statement under a complaint that has been filed by my client, file number 389-8402. Prior to any further proceedings under state law, you are permitted only 48 hours to respond with a formal statement either by yourself or your legal representative will need to contact this office today at 833-944-5289 and my direct extension is 315." I called them back as this is obviously a scam no legal inquiry is going to be delivered over phone; they would have sent a formal letter. I spoke to two people, one named Shane and the other named Anthony. I asked for further info like their site or anything I can look up to identify if they are a real company and they just kept asking what my name was and would not answer my questions. They both spoke with American accents and did not sound foreign.

Was told I owed a loan debt back from 2013, they had a very old address. They told me a I owe money from a company in that area, I researched it and found no company of that name listed. I asked to send any documentation to Me to verify and they could not or would not give me that information.

I got a vm to call back 866-307-8933. The person used a name I hadn't used in 15+ years. He left no personal name just Premier Legal Group. Message indicated that I could call back and possibly settle monetarily out of court. I have a Wyoming phone number so scammers think I still live there and I get targeted by area code too. No email or website were provided.

Multiple voicemail messages were left on our house phone number, my husband's work cell phone number and my 2 daughter's cell phones. The caller stated he was from Broward County (which I am assuming FL) and they were looking to contact my Son regarding Docket Number 131418. The phone number the Gentlemen used was 833-795-5740. I did look up Broward County, FL public case look up regarding my Son and there was NO Docket Number 131418 listed under his name.

Call was a 'spam alert from 561-413-0722. I did not answer. This message left on my voice mail: "This is gretchen banks with pre litigation services and the special investigations department. This is my final attempt to trying to reach you or your legal counsel. Concerning a pending civil complaint I have in my office that's attached to your full name and social security number. If I don't hear from you soon, you'll be forfiting your rights to address this claim outside of a legal setting. And I'll have no other records but to forward your case back to our clients to proceed with litigation. Please return this call to me directly at 470-788-0548, to provide your statement, speaking on your own behalf. The law does require that all parties involved in this case be notified. Let the record reflect that you've been notified. Good luck."

Person called and said they would take me to court and gave me a case number. Said they were from Franklin Jones and Morgan and called from 951-552-7485. I called back acting like a different person from a different number and the person argued with me and then said "get a life" and hung up. Not very professional or something that would come from a law firm. This is a scam, watch out.

I only spoke to the scammer once when they asked me for my Social Security number and I hung up on them. They have called my phone, my husband's phone, my Dad's phone, my business phone. They are relentless and we really need them to be stopped. Thank you.

Several voicemails stating “ this call is to notify my name that this is our final attempt to serve you a notice of action pertaining an investigation being finalized against you for further details on this case against you or to change it active service status please call 888-330-0633 failure to contact immediately will result in further legal action against you.
