I purchased two live chickens from the Robert Spear Poultry Farm to be shipped and delivered to my Arizona address. The chickens were agreed to be shipped by the USPS but were instead shipped by Fast Courier Mails. This new shipping company charged an additional $375 to guarantee delivery. I contacted the seller, Robert Spear Poultry Farm, and they insisted that this was normal and that the $375 would be refunded upon delivery. On the day of delivery, I was again contacted by the shipping company, Fast Courier Mails, and was informed that additional fees of $310 were required for delivery. I refused the additional extra fees and was told that I would not get my package or a refund for the shipping. Robert Spear Poultry Farms refuses to refund the $375 for shipping or the $50 for the original purchase of two live chickens with shipping.
