The person states that you have an unpaid payday loan. In which my case was 10 years old at least. I panic because it was too old for me to be sure that I had paid all my debts. they threaten to send me to court to take my wages and possible jail. I know I paid all my loans. It just been so long ago. I was not able to go home and check. When I stated that this was a scam she immediately got on the defense and threaten to send my paperwork to the courts. They had all my old and I mean old information about me. I did not give any updated information. The only reason they were able to reach me by phone is that I have not changed my number.
