I was called by a company claiming to be Ridgeline Transport about a job offer position called Cargo Compliance Auditor. I did my best to gather up all the information I could find about them, Even finding them on official jobseeker websites. They would ship me packages and I would have to drop them off at a local UPS or USPS or something along those lines. I was told I would receive payment at a specific date and when it was around the week before the supposed “pay-date”, I was locked out of their website and blocked by number and never heard anything back when I emailed them. They had me fill out a regular job application as well a W-2 form with all my real information and now I don’t know what to do. I am scared of them using my information to do goodness knows what.
