I was referred to this by a co-worker of mine as a neat side gig. I received an email that wanted me to register and made an account on controllpanel.com. A couple of days later I received a package with my name and sent it off. I received a couple more packages in my name but I started getting suspicious when packages didn't come in my name. What made me do research and report this was because a person I had referred was approached at his home by the police and was told this was a scam. They had a promotion on the website portal, saying if you referred someone you can get $100. I notified my co-workers that I knew were doing this about this incident.
