The scammer’s name is Urie Ciotti. He claims his business name is Ciotti Construction. We processed a few orders with him for several bundles of rebar. There were two orders processed on 12/26/25. The first order being $832.00, and the second order being $1,196.00. Payment processed using the same credit card. A delivery company was sent to pick up the rebar on the same day, who also confirmed that they were picking up for Ciotti Construction. We continued to work with him on selling more rebar, but on the last order that we tried to process on 1/10/26, the credit card kept declining. We were still in contact with him up until 1/21/26. We received a letter in the mail from our bank on 1/28/26 that both credit card transactions were disputed on 1/20/26. Since receiving the letter, we have not been able to get ahold of him.
