Our names are James and Cheryl Ryan. We hired Robbie Compton in October 2022, to build two cozy cabins. Robbie told us it would be a 6-8 week turnaround to complete the job. Robbie was good for about 5 or 6 months with us reaching out a lot to get updates. After awhile, Robbie just stopped showing up, after months went by and relentless text messages asking him when he was coming back, Robbie had numerous excuses as to why he wasn’t there, anywhere from a divorce, having covid twice, no daycare, going to court, flat tires, hitting a deer, and waiting on supplies. After 19 months of our cabins not getting completed we finally were forced to go to a lawyer and have a certified letter sent to him, requesting a response of his actions. One of the cabins was for renting as an AirBnB, so we lost a lot of money with not being able to rent this out for almost two years. We are still in the process of getting the other cabin finished to be able to rent it out. It is now August 2024. We want people to be warned to stay away from hiring Robbie Compton as this was our worst experience ever.
