This "Daniel" reached out wanting payment for unpaid invoices for the company columbia logistics which is a legitimate company we have worked with for years. This "Daniel had CC'd every one we usually contact from the real company but changed one letter in the emails which went to no one. Now he had the unpaid invoice numbers and information for the real companies invoices. Then he let us know there was a change in accounting and that the new ACH payment needed to be sent to Truist Bank with routing number and account number. I spoke to the real company and they do not recognize any of "Daniels" information.
