Cody posed as a startup contractor that could renovate a portion of our house. Total estimate was $45K. The agreement was to pay him 50% upfront, then 25% half way, $7K at 3/4 way & remaining balance upon completion. I paid up to the $7K, plus an additional amount $2K for additional electrical work to be done. The carpenter stopped working because he was waiting for materials. From there several attempts were made to contact Cody, but he stopped texting & calling. Now, we are at a loss. We dont know what to do at this point.
