I had ordered a laser engraver off of the Coatelite website, and later found out that their had stole their photos and product information directly from the LaserPecker website (which is the real website for laser engravers) and a month later I received a ratchet screwdriver (that has a value of less than a dollar) in the mail. I looked up the company online and realized it was a scam after reading hundreds of similar experiences from others that had thought they purchased the same item. When I emailed the company they said they didn't mean to send it and they would only offer a 40% refund of my money. When I pushed back on getting the full refund they insisted that they will only refund $30 of my refund because their price to pay 3rd party shipping company that sent me the item. I filed a dispute with my bank to get the $49.99 back and I am waiting to hear on the status of the investigation. Do your research before ordering items on websites that offer high priced items are suspiciously cheap.

On Jan. 19, 2023 I clicked on their ad on FaceBook which took me to their web store at http://coatelite.com/. I was interested in purchasing a hand-held laser engraver they were offering for $49.99. I was able to complete the transaction the next day on the 20th. Later that evening, I realized that they had charged my debit card twice for $49.99, a total of $99.98. I disputed the second charge with my bank, and then went to their page again and my order was not there. Not even under 'canceled orders'. I emailed them several times and no one responded until today. They said that my order was canceled and I would receive a refund within 7 days. They did not say how much the refund would be. When I called a Florida phone number I was provided, the number was 'not in use'. Actually, I would like them to honor the order and just refund me the extra $49.99 that they over-charged me.
