I have been in contact with a lady Lisa H. Blackwell claiming her husband had died and was wanting to sell an RV for way under price. Her language skills were lacking and that was a red flag. The telephone number was local to where I live. I was referred to CMC Auto Shipping to complete the purchase. Their website looks professional and legitimate. I spoke with John on several occasions and the last email wanted my driver's license number, social security card and bank account information. I hadn't felt right about the upcoming transaction, so I did some digging and found the information on this website. The original ad was listed in Craigslist in Texas. I have been a recipient of another scam on Craigslist and I'm very leery of things that are to good to be true. I contacted them and told them I wasn't interested anymore. I tried to click on the website and it's no longer there. Be diligent in your purchases. I was lucky because I was about to send them $18,500.

Targeting buyers of high dollar items such as automobiles, RVs, Boats, snowmobiles and atv's on free classified sites on Craigslist; this scammer ran a fake sales ads on Craigslist for a 2007 Fleetwood Bounder for $15,000 inorder to rope you into their FAKE ESCROW SERVICE.

Message from seller: Thank you very much for getting back to me but I would like to clarify some things first. I am selling the RV at this price because my husband passed away not long ago (he was very sick) and this RV brings me bad memories and that's the reason why I want to sell it asap. Another reason for selling it is because I work in military and right now I'm on a military base. We are training and getting ready to leave the country. The RV is already at the shipping company CMC Auto Shipping ready for delivery because someone agreed to buy it, but in the end he never got the loan. For this reason, the shipping is already paid for. I will use CMC Auto Shipping in this transaction for our protection. If you are not aware of this program, you should know that it will allow you to test and inspect the RV before paying me. The inspection period will be set to 5 days and I think that is enough time for you to make a decision about the RV. If you won`t like my RV you notify CMC Auto Shipping and you send it back at my expense. But I assure you that won't be the case.

Second Message from Seller:

I am currently stationed at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska where there is no cell reception and the phone is restricted for family or emergencies, so I cannot handle this myself. The RV is currently with the shipping company in Hastings MN and they are helping me with this sale.

Please let me explain all the steps of the transaction through CMC Auto Shipping. You will receive the RV in just 5 business days and you will have 5 days to test drive it and to see if you would like to keep it or not. If you do, just inform CMC Auto Shipping about it and the payment will be released to me ONLY with your approval. If by any chance you reject the RV you just have to notify CMC Auto Shipping about it and they will refund you right away. If you're interested to conclude this purchase in a timely manner email me your Complete Name and Shipping Address. I'll send it to CMC Auto Shipping and they will start the process.

The financial part will be managed by CMC Auto Shipping which means that you will have a 5 days before committing to buy the RV and the title is transferred. That way we're both covered throughout this process.
