Shaun Afshari owner of ClearPath Tax & Accounting was going to do taxes for myself, my wife, and a dozen friends/family/and clients of ours. Shaun handled all of the communications himself with every client, after weeks of back and fourths he said everything was completed and submitted. After months of no updates from the IRS he mentioned he did paper fillings so it can take longer. After more months of waiting the IRS said it should have already posted as received if he sent anything. We have been dealing with this since March and Shaun has been unresponsive and unwilling to answer more questions since May. Another CPA firm locally is now handling all of these taxes in rectifying this matter for the people effected, but he still took the money from multiple people.
