Type of a scam Online Purchase
On February 10, 2021 I received an invoice billing me for $84.68 with three dates and three amounts blurred out under TRANSACTION DETAILS. In the center of the invoice is the name PURELYTRUEGOODS, (no spacing), and the phone number 833-2870006, (as printed).
I have never done business with Purely True Goods. I have never done business directly with CLEAR BUDS. The only possible contact was through the company I took the survey for by requesting the reward of Ear Buds.
Immediately upon receipt of this e-mail invoice I e-mailed them and told them to immediately cancel this invoice as I had never done any business with this company.
I also tried for an hour to talke to them on the telephone. Each time I was put on hold and the company never completed the call.
I sent additional e-mails today and was finally able to make contact by telephone. The lady on the phone absolutely refused to do anything to eliminate the unrequested charge to my credit card.
