The scammer used misleading marketing on social media to initiate contact. They described a one-time cleaning service to be performed at a discounted rate ($20) and specifically said this is a one-time charge. However, a month later they charged my card again ($49) for no reason. When I contacted them, they said I had unwittingly signed up for their "forever clean" plan and would either have to pay $138 or continue with the payments.
