I supposedly purchased a teacup chihuahua named Milo online and paid $500.00 for the dog and $105 for the shipping. I paid someone by the name of Timika Barrett the $605 by Zelle. I was contacted the next day with a tracking number, but later in the day again contacted by City Express Delivery that the dog was stuck in San Jose Airport customs and I needed to pay for an electronic carrier and to choose one of the 3 from the email and to pay price of the puppy crate and $150 with 95% of the cost of the crate being reimbursable. When I started looking harder I found these complaints. I refused to pay and I was told by these scammers that these complaints were posted by other competitors. I have turned it over to my bank.

I was scammed , by these mother[censored]ers.
Gentle Care teacup Chihuahuas out of Cary North Carolina , and city Express delivery.
They got me for $750
$600 for puppy and another $150 for site permit from airport .
They were trying to get me for 350 for a crate rental, when I b[censored] about that to the seller they said they will cover that,
Been waiting on delivery today on puppy,
Neither emailing me again wanting pet insurance, try calling the numbers on the City Express delivery service website one just rings and rings and the other one Verizon representative comes on and says this call cannot be completed as dialed.
Now I'm out $750

I bought a teacup chihuahua from a Chihuahua puppy Home in North Carolina. This company was used for delivery. Every time they tell me. They have everything and she is ready to be delivered they find some other reason she can not be delivered and want more money from me. They have already gotten me for $1000 dollars. $500 foe the puppy and $500 for fees and special crate. And now they are asking for another $450 for some kind of pet insurance. I am devastated.
THIS COMPANY IS THE BIGGEST SCAM

I feel like such an [censored].
Contacted "FriendyPoodles17@gmail" to purchase a toy poodle they supposedly had. I was sent a photo of the poodle who was named Ocean. I sent them $650 dollars ($500 for Ocean and $150 for transport). They even sent me a contract/ Bill of sale. The dog was supposedly shipped with City Express. I was even given a tracking number, which I checked and it said he had been transported from NC to PA. (SOUNDS LEGIT RIGHT?!)I then get a message from the delivery company telling me I MUST send $500 dollars for "pet insurance" in order for them to bring him to me in NY. I was told the "Pet Authorities"required him to have a USDA certificate in order to finish transporting him. I told them I was not going to send them any money as I should have been informed prior. I told them I would go pick up the dog myself. This was to no avail.
They told me if I didn't send the money within 24 hours they would have to take him to a shelter.
Both Friendly Poodles and City Express have stopped responding
So I am out $650 dollars and I am so disappointed. The dog was for my elderly aunt who wanted another dog after hers died at 20 years old.
So I realize there's there's no "Friendly Poodles" and I googled City Express and its a company in Canada.
SO BEWARE OF BOTH!

Supposed shipping agency for a scam puppy website. Sent 1500.00 fee for a crate rental then they demanded another 3000.00 for financial proof of care. Then another 600.00 for hotel management fee. Only sent the 1500.00 then knew I was being scammed. Thankfully only out 2640.00. It could have been worse but I guess I learned a valuable lesson

Great Pet Home and City Express Delivery Service are in cahoots and have scammed me out of almost $2,000. They have done this to several other people as well as attempting to scam a close friend. First they interview you about what kind of home life the dog will have so it seems genuine, then after getting you to pay for the dog, the "shipping company" will find hidden fees to charge you with (i.e pet insurance, cites and import permit, crate and covid vaccine, etc). The dog will never arrive and the man answering calls for the "shipping company" is the only one who works there and he does not have a supervisor.
